I spy with my little eye...
These crisp, autumn days have me constantly reaching for a warm mug to wrap my hands around and a cozy blanket to snuggle under. This playlist accompanies my mood perfectly.
Some more things I spied this week...
I've been preferring my coffee black lately and enjoying using this Bodum French press that my aunt lent me. I wouldn't mind owning this pretty one eventually and this set would make an elegant Christmas gift.
A mama that's loves her children fiercely. She is an inspiration and so are her tips for toddlers. I already practice #3 (here) and need to work on #5 (validating their emotions really does work!).
These eleanorisms made me laugh. I need to be better at jotting down my children's funny sayings. I do in spurts, but would like to make it a more regular habit. Do you keep track of all the 'isms?
I enjoyed reading Drea's post about how she sat and talked to her daughter and husband about keeping their family just the three of them. It made me look back on how my own family was three for so long until that fateful day when we decided to try for a daughter. Now she's here and two! What joy she brings our family every day. I would have it no other way now, but I'm still amazed some days that Kam has a sibling.
This teen bedroom makeover is awesome. That bed is killer! I want it for myself. :)
Winter is sneaking up on us. I found some great recommendations for cold weather essentials and beauty products here and here.
I am due for a phone break. I've been reaching for it far too much lately. This weekend I'm going to take part in #analogweekend and give my phone a rest. (That means I'll be up to midnight tonigh catching up on these weekend links: here, here, and here before I turn it off) After I sit still in my boredom, I'm sure all sorts of wonderfulness will unfold. The weekend is a good time to focus on family and intentionality. Won't you join me?
Ta ta for now. I'll see you back here on Monday!
