By the time you read this I will have left for our vacation. It's the kids' and my first time to Texas and we're looking forward to all of the fun activities in San Antonio. I have always wanted to go on a long road trip and this will be our first as a family unit. There's so much more to consider now with children involved. Initially, I was totally freaked by the 16 hour trip there, but now I'm actually looking forward to it. I've been doing a ton of research and plan on turning this long drive into a fun adventure. Isn't that what road trips are for anyway?! I have the mother of all goodie bags packed to keep the kids entertained and our schedule will be flexible for stops at roadside attractions.

Well, this will be a lot more than ta ta for now, because this will be an extended break for me. It's time to disconnect with the blogosphere and turn the computer off so I can enjoy the journey ahead to its fullest. I'm sure I'll still be sharing a bit on my instagram since the new fresh exchange collaboration seems to have been made for fun travel photos. But other than that... it's au revoir, my friends!! Hope the rest of your summer is divine.
